  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • β…” cup (5 fl. oz. can) evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 β…” cups dark chocolate morsels
  • ¾ cup Graceland Dried Tart Cherries, coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Fit an eight inch square baking pan with foil. Throw in the sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in a medium, heavy duty saucepan. Let it go to a full boil over medium heat, keep stirring it constantly. Once boiled and stirred for 4-5 minutes, remove from the heat. Mix in the marshmallows, morsels, dried cherries and vanilla extract. Stir hard for one minute or until marshmallows melt. Pour into the baking pan and refrigerate for two hours or until firm. Lift from pan and remove foil, then cut into 48 pieces.
