If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s efficiency! Here are 3 make-ahead breakfast ideas to get into your rotation and make your morning a heck of a lot easier:

Freezer pancakes – Simply whip up your pancake mix of choice (high fiber / protein version will add staying power to keep you full) and then freeze the extras. We’ve been big into Kodiak Cakes! Pop those babies in the toaster in the morning and you’re good to go!

Spinach frittata– Check out this recipe https://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/spinach-feta-frittatas! Since these are made in a muffin tin they are super easy to throw a single serving in the microwave in the morning. This protein and nutrient-rich breakfast is a great and nourishing way to start your day.

Oatmeal smoothie –See recipe below ☺ These are a personal favorite of mine <3 Just open your frig, grab your jar and you’re out the door.

Oatmeal Smoothie


Ingredients (this will provide 1 serving – increase measurements for more)

  • ½ cup nut milk

  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats

  • ½ cup yogurt (optional)

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1 tsp flaxseed milled

  • 1 tsp hemp seeds

  • ½ banana mashed

  • Dried fruit, nuts, and/or spices to top

 

Instructions

  1. Add milk, oats, yogurt, chia seeds, flaxseed, hemp seeds, and banana to a bowl and stir. Transfer to jar, place lid on jar and refrigerate for 5-8 hours.  

  2. Top with desired fruit, nuts, and/or spices and enjoy.
