The success of food manufacturers is driven by their abilities to meet the changing demands of consumers. Graceland’s Research and Development staff works closely with manufacturers to create exciting, customized new ingredients. The experienced R&D department, led by Nirmal Sinha, PhD, assists food technologists and production staff test and develop new product applications for infused dried, Soft-N-Frozen and Fridg-N-Fresh products.

The R&D staff is dedicated to providing the highest level of service for manufacturers including:

  • Developing and collaborating on new ingredients
  • Providing technical support for new applications
  • Creating ingredients per specifications
  • Improving production and quality issues

With vast technical expertise and state of the art facilities, Graceland’s knowledgeable R&D staff can answer questions about ingredient nutritional information, specific applications or production issues.

New product development can require several weeks to several years depending on the complexity of the product, initial results and other development projects in progress.
