Douglas Plumstead
Doug Plumstead is the vice president of Operations for Graceland Fruit plant facilities. He is responsible for production, engineering, maintenance, quality control and inventory control functions. He also provides technical support, oversight of new product implementation and process control improvements. He joined Graceland in October of 1997 as plant manager of its Main Street facility, and was promoted to his current position in 1999.
He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the Northwood Institute with a major in management. His industry experience includes regional management, as well as expertise as a technical and lead service representative.
An active community member, Mr. Plumstead volunteers approximately 200 hours annually in youth sports activities, and also serves as vice president of the Board of Education of the Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools.
