Douglas Plumstead

Doug is the Vice President of Operations for both of the Company¹s facilities. He received a Bachelor¹s Degree in Business Administration from the Northwood Institute with a major in management. In 1984, he began his career at PPG Industries, Inc., starting as a Technical Service Representative, and moving from there to Lead Service Representative, to Senior Sales/Service Representative, and finally to Regional Manager in 1994. He joined Graceland in October of 1997 as Plant Manager of its Main Street facility, and was promoted to his current position in 1999. In his capacity, he is responsible for Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Control and Inventory Control functions, and provides technical support, oversight of new product implementation and process control improvements.

Similar to Steve Nugent and Troy Terwilliger, Doug is very active in the community, not only volunteering approximately 200 hours annually in youth sports activities, but also serving as Vice President of the Board of Education of the Frankfort-Elberta Area Schools.
